Relaxing Scents

We are in a world of perpetual motion: emails, text messages, traffic jams, sirens, deadlines etc. It is always good to deliberately STOP for a few minutes and take a few deep breaths.

Be aware of your breathing pace and how fast your heart is beating. By being self aware, you can take some time out and do something that is good for you.

What relaxes you? maybe a piece of chocolate or a mellow song or closing your eyes and visualizing calm waters. Explore your mind and make a list of all things that relax and calm you down. This is a great way to keep your mental tool box full.

Realize that an email reply can wait, a text message does not have to be responded to right away. If you have a true deadline, plan ahead so you don't get stressed.

Yes there are specific times when you do have to stay on top of things, but don't lump them all into one stressful category.

Besides conscious breathing techniques or meditation, you can use aromatherapy to help combat stress and the hectic pace of life.

Lavender or Vanilla aromas are especially good for creating a relaxed feeling. We keep these wafers in stock and they can be used stand alone or with any of our dispensers.

If you are driving quite often, we offer some good tips in Car Freshener Helps Driving.
